ABOUT US
After almost 20 years in English Cocker Spaniels, I decided to change the breed. In 2002, I brough from Norman Huidobro Corbet, who used to live in Madrid, the first Azawakh in Romania: Huilaco's Jehanarh Khan (Gao). I was waiting this litter for almost 2 years, becouse I wanted a son of Canelle, which was a litter sister of my favourite Azawakh at that time: Cid Kel Dahousahaq. With 3 Best in Shows in all breed shows in less than a year Gao became famous in Romania. Fortunately, when one of my friends, Razvan Sipos saw Gao, he was touched by the same madness as I was years before when I saw an Azawakh for the first time. In a couple of months he brought Anella de Garde Epee from Corine Lundqvist and we already had a couple. We thought is enough for a while but becouse my favourite bitch ever, the 2 times World Winner, Aulad al Sahra's U' Tenere had a litter in the same time, we brought also Alouan from Anne and Ulli Hochgesand. INSOLENS is the name of our common efort to promote the Azawakh in Romania and of course our kennel affix. (We are not "partners" in any other way !)
In his private life, Razvan is an architect who is also studying to be a film director and I am a physician working both in the UK and Romania. In my free weekends I am a FCI dog show judge authorized for the groups: III, IV, V, VII, VIII, X and Best in Show. I judged international and specialty shows in almost every european country, Russia and Israel but unfortunately I am not anymore able to accept more than 5 invitations/ year.
